Iām turning 40 in a few months, {first_name}.
Nothing like the oomph of a meaningful mile marker to bring clarity to my desires and intentions. Grateful for the privilege.
As I dream up my vision for my last months of 39, Iād like to share one of those intentions with you.
A wish, if you will. š
For you and for me, as co-inspirators in the #onherterms universe.
The wish: To shift from "I'll have what SHE'S having" to "I'll have what I'm having" as swiftly and as often as humanly possible. š„Ŗš„Ŗš„Ŗ
Not just in 2025, but every year we get to be here.
Because, {first_name}ā¦
While some amount of external comparison is inevitable (and even helpful, bc jealousy and envy often highlight true desires we've tried to snooze, unsuccessfully):
Life is precious at every age and every stage.
No day is guaranteed.
Why waste our precious energy aiming for anything else?
Who CARES what your life looks like on the outside / the internet if it doesnāt feel sparky and true to YOU? š„
Who CARES if your neighbors or colleagues are envious of your [insert external marker of success here] if at the end of the day / scroll, you still feel like something important is missing? š„
I often wonder if it feels disjointed from your view, but over here the throughline of everything Iām sending is crystal clear.
Whether itās mom alerts and weather prep tips, seasonal simple pleasures, real-time coworking calls, recs for clear, sincere communication, or field notes on habits and creativityā¦
Iām here to help you create a life you wouldnāt trade for anything.
Not a life that looks sparkly on IG.
Not a life your [neighbors, ex, colleagues] would deem acceptable (even exceptional).
A life full of relationships and experiences that mean everything to YOU.
A life that, when you pause long enough to soak it in, hits you right in the heart.
Like "YES. This is it. I'm right where I want to be." š
Perfect by anyone else's standard? No.
Perfect for YOU because you regularly match your actions to your values? BIG YES.
Thatās the āIāll have what Iām havingā life.
A truly meaning-FULL life.
One thatās most likely to come to fruition when you make time to define YOUR terms, over and over again, then act accordingly.
Thatās the wish, the shift, the vision Iām planting for us over here. š±
Is that something you're looking for right now?
Or something you've already got a good handle on?
If it resonates, reply with IHWIH (or a sammie emoji š„Ŗ) and letās keep the convo going.
Would love to know what an "I'll have what I'm having" life looks like for you.
P.S. If this first-name-in-subject-line game didn't work for you (because maybe you put an multiple names or an alias š„ø in the field when you first signed up) and you'd like to update that, hit reply to tell me the real first name you'd like on record and we'll update it for you.
Teamwork makes the merge field dream work.
P.P.S. because itās relevant + another fave WHMS clip: ā...and Iām gonna be 40!ā š©š¤§
