For years when my clients have found themselves overthinking or overcomplicating their projects, I’ve encouraged them start with the path of least creative resistance.
Sometimes it's about format:
If video feels like too much, start with audio.
If audio feels heavy, start with text. ✏️
Other times it’s the platform:
If writing an article or email feels too complex, draft it in a FB post, a doc, or even a text thread.
If recording a podcast feels like pressure, start with a voice note in Voxer.
(Whatever you do, I recommend speaking to ONE, BTW. More on that here.)
Whatever the flow, the idea is the same:
Start where you’re comfy, and expand from there.
That’s exactly what I’ve done with my lofi podcast, On Her Terms®.
For almost three years now, I’ve been creating a library of short, sparky audio messages designed to help you get out of your head and into the inspired action you desire most--without the pressure.
Here's what some of my fave entrepreneurial women have to say about it

ON HER TERMS®, IN THEIR TERMS...
A QUICK SENSE OF CLARITY
“...Part coach, part confidante, part compassionate friend. I’ve been an entrepreneur for 14 years and when I listened to ‘the best business model for YOU,’ I felt a quick sense of clarity on what I really want to build, not what I think I should do. Nikki asks the perfect questions to help you stop overthinking and take inspired action on what you really want. Do yourself a favor and let these 10-15 min pep talks soothe your soul.”
WISDOM, REALNESS, & HUMOR
“This podcast is like having your own biz bff in your pocket whenever you need her to reflect & remind you of what you know deep down - but maybe forgot (or don’t yet fully believe). Each episode is like a wisdom bomb served up w a super-sized size of realness & humor that’ll help you get out of your own way so you can finally bring your idea to life.”
Babies and biz-nesting.
Creating and caregiving.
Preschool and profit margins.
As a creative advisor, coach, and strategist for entrepreneurial women who love their work, their families, and their alone time - I value integrity > balance.
I play and serve best in the gaps. ♻️🤸🏻♀️♻️
That's what On Her Terms® is all about.

Hi 👋 I'm Nikki (Elledge Brown).
Writer, podcaster, and creative advisor for brilliant women who love their work, their people, and their alone time.
As a professional overthinker who believes strongly in INTEGRITY > BALANCE, it's my nerdy pleasure to create and share tools, questions, and frameworks that make it easier to feel good about how we’re showing up — on paper and in practice.
Around here, living like a whole human is the way.
That's what we call On Her Terms® living.
